Event Description Joanys Woods - Two hikes in one!
Participants have an opportunity to hike the first 8 km to finish or to remain for the second 8 kms.
The Ausable River winds along the west edge of Joany’s Woods. Joany’s Woods is part of Canada’s Carolinian region.
The Ivey trail is approximately 4.4 k long and takes you on some steep slopes,some sections of the trail are rough.The Inch trail loop is approximately 3.2 km and will lead you through forests, meadows, plantations, shrub thickets and swamps.

Event Start Time 9:00 am at Joanys Woods 32549 Boot Hill Rd., Thedford
(off of Sylvan Rd.at the intersection of Elliot Dr. and Boot Hill Road)
Level Moderate - with some steep sections
Distance 9 km followed by a repeat 9 km = possible 18 kms
Pace 3 km/hr
Duration 2.5 hours followed by another 2.5 = possible 5 hours
