IMPORTANT: This event is open to fully vaccinated members only

Also, all participants MUST pre-register for event, by midnight the night before; also drop-ins/guests are not allowed at this time (due to Covid-19) and will be turned away by the leader.

Be aware of the Public Health guidance relative to your own vaccination status and make your personal choices accordingly. For those who are more at risk of the virus, be aware that some participants at LOC events may not be fully vaccinated.

Be respectful of other member’s Covid-19 management decisions and protective steps. If they are trying to maintain 2m distance, please help them achieve that.

Don’t participate if you have ANY symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in recent contact with someone who has Covid-19.

 Event Description

This event is open to fully vaccinated members only.
Join LOC on a 3 night, 4 day trip hiking the Beaver Valley section on the beautiful but challenging Bruce Trail.

Breakfast not included, fridge/microwave in room, coffee available in front lobby.

Note: Leaders will not be arranging car pooling or shared accommodations at this time, with participants making their own arrangements. If you require contact info check with the leaders.

Limit of 20 (member) registrants; require minimum 6 to run event.)

Important: Trip being arranged based on current provincial guidelines. If other restrictions are brought back in, the trip could end up being cancelled.

Current Conditions  Participants Should Be Prepared For:
rough terrain and possible rain/mud
Important Note: Have you completed a challenging hike such as the Fanshawe Lake Trail or the Lambton Heritage Forest offered this year? We strongly encourage you to complete one or more of these hikes to ensure your conditioning prior to attending the Bruce Trail hikes. We will be hiking 20+ km/day over challenging conditions and want both you and the others on the trip to be confident and feel safe.
